Audio-Video Transcription

Sintelix can transcribe audio and video with audio files into text.

The compatible file formats are, Wav, mp3, m4a, aac, ogg, flac, wma, mpeg, amr, caf, mp4, mov, wmv, mpg, m4v, flv, and mkv.

Audio-Video Transcription requires:

• Audio transcription is included in your Sintelix License
• The Media Processing Server to be installed on a Virtual Appliance (See Integrate Audio Transcription Virtual Appliance).
• Sintelix to be connected to the Media Processing Server (See Connect Media Processing Server).
• The Audio Video Transcription is enabled in the Ingestion configuration.

Once Audio-video Transcription has been enabled in the Ingestion Configuration, it is automatically applied to any audio or video files added to a collection for ingestion.

Once transcribed, you can view and Edit Documents just like any other document.

However, there are additional features unique to transcribed documents:

• You can play the audio.

• You can view, add and edit the Speakers (when configured in the Ingestion configuration to identify speakers).
